When it comes to quickly adding new features to Facebook-owned services, Whatsapp is the least most update compared to Instagram or even Facebook Messenger.
Whatsapp, as you all know doesn't allow you share every type of file. You are limited to sharing only files like PDF, slides, Word Documents and Spreadsheets.
Well, all that is about to be a thing of the past. Whatsapp is testing new features, with some selected users, for now, that will see new improvements to the app with the biggest change being that you will now be allowed to share every type of file.
But there is a limitation to the sizes of files you can share. Whatsapp will let you share files with maximum file size of 128MB on iOS, 100MB on Android, and 64MB on WhatsApp Web.
While it is certain you will soon receive an update that will bring this new features, the question is when.
