Design & Display

Leagoo M9 sports a more refined design compared to last years' Laagoo M8 & M8 Pro. The bezels have been shrinked further to the edges while the sides now have subtle curves for easier handling. The phone comes in Black, Blue and Gold. 

Leagoo M9 comes with a 5.5-inch HD screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio which provides more room for displayed contents at a time.

Camera, Performance & Storage

Leagoo M9 features dual 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear cameras with dual-LED flah. Pictures and videos should look just fine but don't expect anything out of the ordinary.

For selfies, the device offers dual 5-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors with LED flash. Leagoo M9 can record 720p videos at 30fps.

Leagoo M9 runs on a low-end Mediatek MT6580 chip at 1.3GHz. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM. Not built for rigorous multitasking but expect this device to run less demanding task with ease. You get 16GB base storage on the Leagoo M9, which can be bolstered with a MicroSD of up to 128GB. Leagoo M9 runs on an older Leagoo 3.0 Lite OS on top of Android 7.0 (Nougat).

For a budget smartphone that it is, the Leagoo M9 depends on a 2,850mAh battery to keep the lights on. This unit will hardly take you through a full day without topping so always have a charger close-by.

Leagoo M9 supports dual SIM but, unfortunately, it isn't 4G enabled. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor placed at the back. Other connectivity features on the Leagoo M9 are the headphone jack,  Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-fi 802.11/b/g/n.
